VIDEO ! --Turn your speakers up ! ! ! You can hear when I switched the cutouts off and on. Come to find out the reason that it reverted to an idle, then died was because I mistakenly mounted the electric fuel pump on the inside of the passenger side wheel well rather than near the fuel tank. It was cavitating and would quit pumping after about 15 minutes of running. Removed it and put the mechanical pump back in, repiped it, and all works fine now.
VIDEO ! --I decided to wire the start sequence so that you have to turn the key to the start position AND press the start button at the same time. The key only engages the holding relay for the isolation solenoid, then the button pulls in the start solenoid. Once it starts, the key switch holds the isolation solenoid in through the holding relay in the trunk. Engine was already hot in this vid, so fans came on high speed. They don't come on full speed unless - A. the radiator pressure reaches 10 psi, B. The air conditioning trinary switch reaches something like 200 psi on condenser side, or C. if the dash switch is flipped, forcing them on. They come on low speed when the block temperature reaches 185 degrees.
VIDEO ! ! - 12/6/2014 Got a new 90 degree water outlet to eliminate the air pocket with the original 45 degree swivel outlet. The water hose is pretty much level from the outlet to the radiator now. Had to get a belt that is 1/2 inch longer than the original so that there was room to fit the hose connector between the alternator and compressor. Closed the cutouts and she quietens down a LOT when exhaust is diverted through the mufflers. Cool.......
