Tire clearance is good on the inside for clearance, except for where the chalk mark is to trim off a little bit more of the original frame before I box it all in. The frame is upside down. The lower control arms and axles were cut down 4.25" by Curt Hamilton in Van Neys. He's been building Jag rear ends for 30 years. GREAT guy!
A closer view of first radius arm and brackets. UPATE 8/10/2022 the bushing on the right side "squished" out of shape, causing the lower control arm to want to shift forward putting a torsional stress on the aluminum hub housing, and it cracked at the pin swivel on the lower right side of the picture)
Things are fitting together pretty well. My old buddies at Leo Machine in South Austin cut down the torque arms and re-tapped the ends for me yesterday (11/28/2012). They are the two arms that go from the new bracket to the frame. Outside to outside on the tires came out 64.25" which is exactly where I wanted them to be to calculate the amount to cut down the axles and lower control arms (LCA's)to clear the inside of the wheel wells. A little concerned about being able to take a tire off if I have a flat. hmmmmm. The frame is upside down in this picture.
