First Drive ! February 15, 2015

VIDEO - Dang it, I have not found a way to rotate this one....grrr. Getting ready to drive out of the garage, adjusting idle. Electric fans coming on from radiator pressure switch. I picked that nifty little end table/cabinet up off the side of the road one day. Came in handy.

VIDEO - She sits waaay too high...Testing the brakes first before I got to going tooo fast. Just after I got in, I opened the cutout valves and hit the gas a couple of times...love that sound. After this video, I installed the 2" S-10 dropped spindles. It helped with the "sit" (front is now 2'' lower).

VIDEO - That little peel out was a tad scary, I nearly fell back in the unbolted seat....You can hear the high stall torque converter lets the RPM go up closer to the torque curve peak when I gave it about 25% gas... not the mention the huge tires squeaking just a tad ! Hope you have some good speakers..........By the way, that Donzi Sweet 16 with a supercharged Chevy engine in the background is for sale...

VIDEO - Check out that fresh air intake.... hahaha (drier vent tube)...I decided to redesign the configuration to relocate the inlet location to the inside of the fender - the air passageway from the screened inlet just behind the grille that previously was the fresh air intake to the driver's side under-dash location, which I abandoned due to the fresh air inlet fan on the passenger's side.
