The "Garage"

Gotta build a little garage. It's a bummer not to have a place to work, so I decided I'd just build one.

Temporary leveling blocks. Two by sixes on two foot centers to distribute the weight.

Most of the boards are down, next is leveling with laser level. Check out that crazy bamboo on the left. I cut and sprayed with weed killer a couple of years ago. Some that came back was modified DNA. Wild..

All level, floor plywood going down. Note the galvanized metal straps to tie it all together. Anybody want to buy a really nice red 300ZX with a blown head gasket?

Floor is down; next is to build the Costco Canopy

Not bad for $200 bucks. Later I decided to lift the legs of the canopy up on top of the floor, and cut 3" off each leg so the sides still were below the edges for water run-off.

All done, next is to roll up the sides and paint the floor

Windows, Doors, PATIO, even. Haaaa Just finished the redwood ramp/porch replacement. Ya never know when you may need a Hover-round ramp. Gutter connected to underground drain to the rear of the house.

LOVE that redwood....Not Cedar.

New home for a few years...........As of July, 2016, it's been over five years.

Floor painted, flashing around the edge, insulating panels hung from roof and one side panel - in place. Here is were she will undergo her transformation ! Notice that the tread width is waaay too wide on that Camaro front clip.

She'll be here for a while.... ahahah
